1. Age restrictions
- The sauna is strictly for guests aged 16 and over.
- No under-16s are permitted in any sauna or cold plunge session, including private and group bookings.
2. Health & safety
You must not use the sauna or cold plunge if you have medical conditions that may be affected by heat or cold exposure, including but not limited to:
- Cardiovascular issues, respiratory conditions, or severe hypertension.
- Pregnancy.
- Epilepsy or any condition that may be aggravated by high heat or cold immersion.
You must ensure you are medically fit to participate. Use of the sauna and cold plunge is entirely at your own risk. We are not medical practitioners and cannot advise on individual health conditions — if in doubt, check with your GP before your session. We provide a leisure wellness experience and do not provide medical advice.
3. Personal responsibility & liability
- Customers must follow all safety instructions provided by staff.
- Pike N Hot does not accept liability for personal injuries except where caused by our negligence.
- If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have a heart or circulatory issue, epilepsy, or are unsure whether sauna or cold immersion is suitable for you, you should consult a medical professional before attending. Our team can explain how a session works, but we cannot provide medical advice.
4. Code of conduct
- Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.
- Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited.
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry.
5. Booking terms & cancellation
All bookings at Pike N Hot are non-refundable, subject to the following:
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. Where made in time, a credit note is issued for the full amount, valid for 12 months from the date of issue and usable toward any future booking.
- Booking changes (rescheduling time or date) must be made at least 24 hours before your session.
- If you have booked in error, let us know as soon as possible. Refunds can only be processed back to the original payment method on the same day as the original purchase; after that, all payments are final and non-refundable.
- Gift cards purchased separately are valid for 5 years in line with EU and Irish law.
- Failure to attend a booked session, or any cancellation or change made outside these timeframes, will result in the full booking fee being forfeited.
- Late arrivals will result in a shortened session without compensation.
6. Sauna rules & regulations
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all guests must follow these rules:
- Personal safety: Remove all jewellery. Swimwear with metal components, slimming panels or items that may cause burns is prohibited. Do not touch the sauna stones or heater at any time — they are extremely hot and can cause severe burns.
- Towel requirement: Bring a clean towel to sit on in the sauna. Failure to bring a towel may result in denial of entry.
- Slip hazard: Take care entering and exiting the sauna, cold plunge and surrounding areas — benches, floors, steps and decking may be wet and slippery. Wear non-slip footwear.
- Dress code: Appropriate attire includes swimsuits, togs or bikinis, free from metal components and suitable for sauna use.
- Phone-free zone: Our sauna is a phone-free space to support relaxation. Phones and cameras must be kept outside the sauna.
- Water on stones: You may pour only one small spoonful of water on the stones every 10–15 minutes. Adding oils to the water is strictly prohibited.
- No food or alcohol: Pike N Hot is an alcohol-free facility. Alcohol and food are not permitted in the sauna.
- Showering: Shower before using the cold plunge, and rinse off thoroughly if wearing fake tan or lotions before entering the sauna.
- Body care: Do not use creams or lotions in the sauna as they create slip hazards and clog pores. Sauna whisks are not permitted.
- Cooling & hydration: Cool down gradually after the sauna and drink water to prevent dehydration.
- Temperature & duration: Limit sauna sessions to 15–20 minutes. Exit immediately if you feel dizzy, nauseous or light-headed.
- Fire safety: Do not hang clothes to dry inside the sauna due to fire risk.
- Post-sauna rest: Allow yourself at least 15 minutes to rest in a cool place after your session, particularly before driving.
- Respect & courtesy: Be considerate of other guests' space and keep noise to a minimum.
- Time management: Adhere to your allocated time slot.
- Right of refusal: Pike N Hot reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual from the premises at its sole discretion.
7. Assumption of risk & liability
By using Pike N Hot, you agree to the following:
- Acknowledgement of risks: You accept that sauna use, cold plunge use and activities on the premises involve inherent risks, including burns, dehydration, dizziness, overheating and slipping hazards. You assume all such risks.
- Health representation: You represent that you are in good health and do not have conditions contraindicated for sauna or cold plunge use, and that you will consult a healthcare professional if unsure.
- Release of liability: You release Pike N Hot, its owners, employees, agents and affiliated parties from liability for injuries, health issues or damages arising from sauna or cold plunge use, or incidents on the premises, to the maximum extent permitted by Irish law.
- Waiver of claims: You agree to waive any claims against Pike N Hot for injuries or damages resulting from use of the facilities, except where caused by our negligence.
- Supervision of children: Anyone under 16 is not permitted in sessions. Where minors are otherwise present on the wider club grounds, a responsible adult must supervise them at all times.
- Allergies & cleaning products: Cleaning products and chemicals used on site may cause allergic reactions. You assume all risks related to allergies and sensitivities.
- Use of steps: Using the steps to and from the mobile sauna and cold plunge involves inherent risks; exercise caution as surfaces may be slippery or uneven.
- Appropriate footwear: Wear non-slip footwear while moving around the facilities. Pike N Hot is not responsible for injuries resulting from inadequate footwear.
- Payment for damages: You are responsible for any damage you cause to Pike N Hot's property.
- Insurance: You are responsible for your own medical costs related to sauna or cold plunge use.
- Jurisdiction: This waiver and all associated terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
- Indemnity: You, along with your heirs and assigns, agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pike N Hot against any claims arising from your actions.
- Severability: If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
- Automatic agreement: Entry into the sauna or cold plunge constitutes acceptance of these terms, including the waiver of liability, even if a separate signed waiver is not obtained.
8. Events (yoga, meditation & wellness activities)
- Participation at your own risk: Participation in events organised, hosted or promoted by Pike N Hot — including yoga, meditation, breathwork and other wellness activities — is entirely at your own risk.
- Health & medical advice: It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit to take part. We strongly recommend consulting a healthcare professional before participating.
- Release of liability: By attending an event you agree to release and waive all liability from Pike N Hot, its directors, staff, facilitators and third-party collaborators for any injuries, illnesses, accidents or losses incurred, to the maximum extent allowed by Irish law.

- Outdoor & natural terrain: Events may occur on grassy or uneven ground. By attending you accept the risk of slips, falls or exposure to weather.
- Media & photography: Photos or videos may be taken during events for promotional use. If you do not wish to appear, please let us know in writing before the event.
- Insurance: Pike N Hot does not provide personal accident or medical insurance for events. You are responsible for your own cover if required.
9. Privacy
